Kennedys HR team support the firm around the world with all people related matters.

The HR team is based in Chelmsford and London for the UK, Dublin for EMEA, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia for APAC, Basking Ridge for US and London/LATAM for LATAM. The areas of HR that we have responsibility for are Business Partnering, Recruitment (including partners and early careers), Reward, HR Systems and Analytics, Learning and Development, Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity and Inclusion. The HR function is also responsible for the Secretarial function in the UK, Singapore and Thailand.

Our responsible business team encompasses different functions within the firm, with team members all sharing a passion for creating meaningful connections between the firm and society through business initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to enquiries from our global volunteer network of CSR Champions to assist them plan regional initiatives, challenges and events
  • Create engaging content for internal and external communications channels, tender materials, and presentations that highlight our responsible business initiatives
  • Maintain and develop the CSR intranet page and prepare timely Champions in Action news articles
  • Set up and manage online fundraising pages, spreadsheets, dealing with payment of invoices and other budget-related tasks
  • Liaison with external partners to develop community outreach initiatives
  • Maintain CSR library which includes images, resources, templates and learning materials on sustainability and global citizenship topics
  • Data collection, collation and preparation of content to feed into our annual Responsible Business Report
  • Required experience

  • Relevant experience or qualification in marketing, communications, delivering community engagement and volunteer programmes or in a related field
  • Passionate about not for profit related campaigns and driving progress through the UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Experience of volunteering programmes (either personally or professionally) to date
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated project management skills
  • Calm under pressure yet keeping a positive and open-minded attitude
  • Excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent team player who is able to work in a highly collaborative environment with different teams within a global law firm setting.
  • Self-motivated that excels in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the MS suite of products
