Graduate Recruitment and Development Advisor

My client a leading global law firm are looking for a graduate recruitment and development advisor on a fixed term contract for 12 months. 

The Graduate Recruitment and Development Advisor will be a key member of the team providing a key point of contact for all staff including internal stakeholders.

The key duties will include:

  • Support with all aspects of employer branding, including review of all promotional materials, organising art work for publications, maintaining the content of the graduate recruitment website and dealing with all other aspects of graduate advertising
  • Support across the legal apprenticeship, trainee vacation scheme and open day selection and offer processes
  • Support with and provide advice regarding the various diversity programmes in place
  • Monitor current and future trainee performance, from GDL to qualification, dealing with any performance issues
  • Assist with the appraisal process for trainee solicitors ensuring all appraisal reviews with trainees are completed on a bi-annual basis
  • Conduct exit interviews with trainees where applicable
  • Organise payment of tuition fees, maintenance grants and reimbursement of deposits for future trainees
  • Attend and organise future trainee social events
  • Administrative duties, keeping the HR system up to date at all times, keeping all trainee files up to date
  • The Graduate Recruitment and Development Advisor will have experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm, with a full understanding of the process involved in trainee solicitor recruitment and development, you will be educated to a degree level and have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
