The laboratory of Professor Susan Ozanne () is seeking a part time senior research technician. Our main research interest is in understanding how obesity and impaired glucose tolerance during pregnancy impacts on offspring cardio-metabolic health. We are particularly interested in establishing intervention strategies in the mother that improve both maternal and offspring cardiovascular and metabolic health. Supported by the British Heart Foundation, this post will provide technical and lab managerial support to a study addressing the effects of interventions that are used to treat gestational diabetes.
Key responsibilities: Applicants should have a background in working in labs carrying out physiological and molecular studies and will have the following responsibilities:
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 December 2024 in the first instance.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment and a security check.
