The successful candidate will interact with, and supervise PhD students undertaking their research at the National Structural Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC) and contribute to the research strands of NSIRC so as to meet its mission. Amongst the aims of NSIRC is to develop a critical mass of research informed by the needs of industry, across the field of structural integrity and to develop novel postgraduate programmes to train the next generation of researchers and engineers to support UK science and innovation
