Based within Student Recruitment Marketing and Admissions we are seeking an experienced market research and insight professional to support the ongoing development of a customer-focused and evidence-led approach to student recruitment and related marketing activity.

Educated to degree level, you will be qualified and have a proven track record of planning and delivering market research and insight projects and working with complex and large data sets from multiple sources.

This is a new specialist role, and you will be required to work with colleagues within the team and the wider university to develop, prioritise and implement an annual plan of insight and analysis. This will include areas such as primary and secondary research to inform market positioning and portfolio development, the evaluation of marketing campaigns and activities and the in-depth analysis of admissions data.

With a good understanding of the issues affecting student recruitment in higher education you will have strong project management skills and proven experience of ensuring data quality and accuracy, commissioning and overseeing research with external suppliers and writing and presenting impactful reports. Advanced IT skills and evidence of working with and developing data visualisation tools are essential as is an awareness of ethical considerations when conducting research and data protection compliance.
