We’re Norton Rose Fulbright – a global law firm with over 50 offices and 7, employees worldwide.

The Applied Technology team design and build tech solutions as part of our Legal Products and Consulting function which delivers New Law services to NRF’s clients and is a key component of NRF Transform. With our team of developers, business analysts, consultants, and product managers we work closely with clients and colleagues, such as Legal Operations Consulting, to address some really challenging legal and business problems.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with our team of consultants, solution architects, developers, project managers and product managers to help solve client problems using appropriate technology
  • Learn quickly and be able to develop the skills required to competently manage technical client projects
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and team members on complex technical topics and issues
  • Support technical software solutions, help with testing and deployment into production
  • Work in accordance with established technical best practice principles to ensure we offer high quality products and solutions to clients
  • Build upon existing processes and protocols through continuous process improvement and sharing lessons learnt
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of common and emerging technology relevant to our clients and the legal industry
  • Skills and Experience:

  • A person with an understanding of full stack development, front-end development and/or UX design
  • A team player but also able to work independently when needed
  • Working knowledge of some coding languages is not necessary but will be helpful
  • Experience with the Microsoft technology stack is desirable, Azure and Power Platform in particular
  • Ability to design, build, think and communicate in a systematic manner
  • Excellent analytical, problem identification and issue resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven and demonstrable dedication to quality of work and client focus
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively towards deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects with consistently high-quality results
  • Able to demonstrate good judgment in sensitive or stressful situations
