SEND & Corporate Parenting Business Administrator Apprentice

The starting salary for this position is £15, per annum, based on a 36-hour working week. The role will be a mixture of remote working and office based working. The team meetings usually take place in Quadrant Court, Woking (GU22 7QQ).

Commissioning is all about looking to design, develop and deliver services that make a difference to Surrey families, children and young people. This position sits within the commissioning team and will be of interest for those looking to develop a career in project support and business administration as you work towards a Level 3 qualification.

Our 18-month Apprenticeship scheme provides a perfect way to earn a wage while you gain vital work experience and a nationally recognised qualification. You will be fully supported and mentored through your apprenticeship and be given protected time to complete your course work. The scheme is designed for individuals who are living and entitled to work in England and are not in full-time education.

Some of the tasks you will be involved with in the role include:

  • Support the Commissioning Team to maintain positive relationships with providers. This may include: Arranging meetings Minuting meetings and keeping record of conversations Working with providers to obtain key information
  • Support the Commissioning Team with key project activity. This may include (but is not limited to): Maintaining project documentation Compiling agendas for project groups Circulating key material for meeting Ensuring availability in diaries and ensuring key project activity is completed by members Working with external and internal stakeholders
  • Working with families, children and young people to understand their experience of Surrey services.
  • Maintain and manage the contracts register within the service, including ensuring the internal directory of services is accurate.
  • Supporting the Commissioning Manager for SEND & Corporate Parenting with meeting and diary management.
