We have a unique opportunity, based on site for our client, for an account specialist. This is a permanent role.


  • Between £24000 and £25500, based on experience
  • Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 07:00am – 16:00pm OR 08:00am – 17:00pm
  • Early finish on Fridays – 14:00pm
  • Randstad In-house Services, part of the Randstad group, specialises in providing bespoke workforce management solutions aligned to business needs and objectives.

    You will be responsible for:

  • Pre-screening of candidates for recruitment projects
  • Management of the registration of candidates
  • Establish a strong relationship with the client and the workforce
  • Employment relations – effective management of worker complaints and disciplinary matters without exposing the business to unnecessary risk
  • Regular floorwalks as agreed with the client to give visibility to the client and the temporary workforce
  • Work in partnership with the client in order to fulfil requirements
  • Understand the needs of our clients and adjust our services to meet these.
  • Organisation of temp worker surgeries
  • Selection of the most effective recruitment channels to meet the client’s needs
  • Manage the weekly payroll – full training will be provided
  • Conduct referencing
  • Management of the onsite temporary workforce including performance management, absence management and management of conduct including conducting investigations where relevant
  • Attending planning meetings with the client to assess temporary worker requirements
  • Conduct performance evaluations with the temporary workforce
  • To be successful in this role you will:

  • Previous recruitment experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous on site experience preferable
  • Experience using various interview formats phone, structured, group)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Be resilient and work well under pressure, flexing and adapting as needed
  • Have excellent communication skills and capable of dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent understanding of Excel/Google sheets
