Digital Outreach Worker

Hours: 15 (18 months fixed term contract)

Salary: £8,918 pa (£22,000 FTE)

Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, is an independent local charity working in the community to help older people, their families and their carers.

Following a successful bid, AUKWSBH have won funding to create a new Digital Inclusion Support Service project to raise awareness and provide digital skills support to older people in our local community. We want to ensure that older people feel more inspired, confident and motivated to get online, making them feel less isolated and more socially connected. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our existing team to help take forward this exciting and much needed project. You will facilitate outreach visits to promote referrals to the service, and enable participation of clients who are unable to attend volunteer-led sessions.

If you are patient and can work in a person-centred way, putting older people at the heart of everything you do and have experience of delivering person- centred digital skills support in an effective and engaging manner, then this role could be for you!
