Norton Rose Fulbright is embarking on an exciting journey transforming its people function, implementation new technology, processes and ways of working. The reporting analyst will be an integral part of the programme to ensure we can leverage and optimise on enhanced reporting and analytics capability.

Working in the Reporting and Analytics Workstream reporting to the Analytics and Insight Lead

The Role:

  • Gather requirements from the business stakeholders and translate this into report designs and specification
  • Translate current as-is reporting into to be solutions based on the technology capability.
  • Leverage analytical capability of the HRIS system to encourage automation and self-service of reporting artefacts
  • Build and test custom reports in the HRIS system
  • Create and test business dashboards to leverage data assets for senior stakeholder groups in order to inform business decision making
  • Create and embed new reporting library within the business to ensure clear guidance and engagement with stakeholders
  • Roll out and assist in the training of users in the new report library and ways of accessing data within the HRIS system.
  • Use continuous improvement methodologies to assess current ways of working and to design and build to be processes and outputs
  • Complete data integrity checks and validation to ensure high data quality to optimise the quality of reporting output
  • Collaborate with wider workstreams to gather requirements and identify reporting and analytics opportunities
  • Skills and Experience:

  • We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience as Reporting Analyst working with complex data sets and translating into business insights
  • Previous experience of Workday and building and delivering reports to internal clients.
  • Highly analytical and data literate across multiple systems, taxonomies and data flow.
  • Previous experience working with a business intelligence or dashboarding tool is desirable.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in the face of change and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and as part of ateam
  • Works as a competent member of the team
  • Exhibits sound judgement and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction.
  • Proven ability to utilise Influencing skills across a broad range of stakeholders to pursue positive outcomes.
  • Works effectively without direct supervision or guidance.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office packages
