    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Scrub Practitioner / Nurse to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Hull. The hospital has state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Scrub Practitioner / Nurse to join their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Scrub Practitioner / Nurse to join them. The service offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, general surgery, weight loss surgery, eye surgery and cosmetic surgery.

    Duties and responsibilities

    You will be working as part of the theatre team as Scrub Practitioner / Nurse and responsible for the following;

  • Assist and care for patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures
  • Prepare operating theatre for surgery (instrumentation, equipment and supplies)
  • Ensure waste is kept to a minimum
  • Perform scrub duties
  • Support senior staff ensuring high standards of care are provided to all patients
  • Who we’re looking for

  • Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 years’ experience scrub experience
  • Experience in a variety of surgical procedures
  • English National Board Advanced scrub practitioner qualification in perioperative practice desirable
