Waking Nights Support Worker- Female -needed in Bournemouth – Full time and part time available
We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team to support a 19 year old female with a diagnosis of a Learning Disability and Autism who can experience associated sensory difficulties, to start her journey in her new home.
She is great fun to be with and builds really strong bonds with her Support Workers. This young lady loves all things Disney; you will inherit a Disney character name! She also enjoys fashion, makeup and pampering – be prepared for a makeover! She enjoys being creative with photography, sticker books, cutting and sticking and using IT. She has a real passion for baking and food in general, which we need to encourage her with and to try new things and learn cookery skills,. However, we also need to encourage healthy eating and exercise where possible.

You will receive extensive training including training in physical intervention to ensure you are equipped in understanding the correct ways to respond, cope and react to difficult situations, full induction to Dimensions and support with completion of the Care Certificate to enable you to fulfil the role and enhance your personal development.
