Job Description:

Role Purpose

The role is based within dentsu X Global which is a Team based predominantly out of London which both services our international clients as well as supporting our local markets.

We are looking for someone who can support the team to unearth insight and trends that can support how we work with our existing clients as well as prospects. They will have an eye for detail and be inquisitive about changes occurring in society, business, and culture.

They will also need to be able to work independently within the wider team to support different people with different challenges. This will include working with colleagues from around the world to source knowledge and insight from within our wider Network.

Key Accountabilities

Will vary depending on clients and challenges of the business but examples of the kind of work are:

  • Research into New Business prospects to understand the key people, how they operate, changes to their business and trends in the sector
  • Research into cultural trends from around the globe that could impact our clients and how we work with them
  • Research into Industry sectors to understand the challenges they face and the changing business landscape as a result
  • Research into the impact of covid on consumer behaviour and how this will impact the media landscape
  • Supporting the wider Dentsu team to develop the Annual Trends presentation that goes out to all clients

Person Specification

  • Well-organised
  • Used to working to short deadlines
  • Diplomatic, able to develop strong relationships with key network stakeholders at all levels within the business
  • Capable of picking up projects and running with them
  • A curious mindset
  • Knowledge of research databases how to source data and insight
  • Must be sensitive to cultural issues in different countries and a good team player
  • A sound understanding of global marketing landscape
  • Consultancy or research experience would be good
