Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.

The role will deliver reporting from and systems support for the University’s HR system, providing temporary cover while the University implements a new HR system.

The role holder will also lead the Division’s reporting and analytics team, taking responsibility for HR statutory and non-statutory returns to bodies such as HESA and UCEA.

Providing strategic guidance to the HR Division on their needs for HR systems and analysis, the role holder will work with University Information Services to prioritise requests for new functionality, and work as agreed to implement the new functionality.

Applicants should have extensive knowledge of configuring and supporting HR systems, ideally in the higher education sector. They should have advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Cognos, and the ability to present complex information to staff at all levels.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic disclosure (criminal records check) check and a security check.
