Have you got HE Administration experience?

If so a leading University in the City are seeking an experienced HE administrator to join their team on a temporary basis asap. This is a 12 week temporary contract with the potential to go permanent.

The salary is £22,647pa (£11.61ph) for a full time role, Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 hours. They are currently working 3 days on-site, 2 days at home. which could be subject to change as per the business needs.

The role:

Supporting a team which offers students inclusive support for successful graduate employment outcomes, tailored to individual needs and career aspirations, as an integral part of the student journey that will start at enrolment and continue beyond graduation.
Your role as Administrator will support the provision of the service to ensure that students and employers experience an excellent service.

  • Respond to first-line enquiries from students, employers and staff in person or electronically

  • Provide front-line guidance and support to students with enquiries and use of the online booking service to make appointments Organise meetings, produce agendas, take minutes, summarise action points and monitor follow-up

  • Provide administrative support to collect and record data and produce management reports

    Support the planning, organisation and successful delivery of events

  • Liaise with internship staff to ensure that health and safety and visa compliance requirements are checked, documentation including contracts and agreements are produced and sent as required and that accurate records are maintained

  • Requirements:

  • Experience of working within education sector and in particular HE within and administrative role (preferable)

  • Administration experience including setting up and managing data bases.

  • Significant experience of using computerised management and administrative systems notably Microsoft Office programmes.
