Teaching Assistant – Northumberland
The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Newcastle in search of a permanent full time teaching assistant. The position is to start as soon as possible or the possibility of starting within the September term. The role consists of assisting the teachers in a classroom basis, as well as 1-to-1 and small group work with the pupils.
In order to be successful in your application you must hold a full DBS or PGCE teaching qualification.
Requirements preferred but not necessary for the role of a learning assistant:
– QTS or other UK recognised Teaching qualification.
– Experience teaching at KS3-4.
– A degree in a relevant subject.
– Experience in the classroom
– Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.
– Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
