£19,292 plus £610 Crawley Weighting Allowance per annum
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
The college has developed a multi-million pound facility at Crawley College that will put the college at the cutting edge of training delivery in STEM. The new building will be home to a suite of modern teaching and interactive spaces that will be used to integrate the use of technology and STEM (science, technology, engineering & maths) into its curriculum. We want to recruit an enthusiastic technician with knowledge of electrical engineering to support the running of lessons.
In the role, you will be required to set up labs, support students during practical lessons and maintain labs. The ideal candidate will work with the team to actively contribute to the design and development of the curriculum within the new STEM Academy.
You must have excellent organisational and communication skills. You will also have experience of meeting the needs and expectations of the learners. You must be committed to equality and diversity, health and safety and safeguarding. Relevant industry experience in Electrical Engineering will be required but you will be supported in developing your role here at the college.
