Adecco are recruiting for a Logistics and Sales Coordinator on behalf of a leading Sales & Marketing company with offices in UK & EU, supplying Retail, E-commerce and Foodservice companies with a variety of high-quality products sourced from a vast network of global suppliers.
Their modern offices offer a fresh approach with a clean and sustainable working environment, providing a space that generates creativity for all who work there.
This is an Office based environment located in Warrington WA1 with the working hours of 8am to 4pm with 30 minutes lunch break.
The salary for this role is £35, to £40, depending on experience
Key responsibilities:
Creating good working relationships. Communication being key to help plan and import a variety of goods on a weekly basis
Working closely with fellow colleagues to understand each person’s role and help support one another
Analyse forecasts and projections to help plan shipments in a timely manner.
Build relations in order to liaise with our Manchester based Freight Forwarder regarding ETD’s and ETA’s.
Help managing import documents from start to finish
Monitor stock inventory to help timelines and cash flow.
Processing Sales Orders
Arranging deliveries and liaising with Transport and Cold stores
Updating and invoicing sales orders
Various other tasks to help the structure of a fast-paced growing business
Attributes:
Knowledge of Incoterms or International Commercial Terms
Experience within similar environment overseeing movement of stock with agreed client time frames
Experience liaising with freight forwarders
FMCG background – desirable
Knowledge of required documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident professional telephone manner
Computer literate and proficient in Excel and Word together with excellent numerical skills
Ability to prioritise in a busy environment with flexible approach
Excellent organisation with high attention to detail
The role requires a tenacious and resilient individual and team player who is capable of building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
