Randstad Technologies are partnered with a Financial Services entity in London who are looking for an End User Computing Manager. The role is newly created and reports directly into the Global IT Director. My client are currently working a hybrid model, with 3 days being worked from home and 2 in the office.

Experience Required:

  • Has to be Technical hands on in end user space Thin device management, desktops, file permissioning, GPO’s, Security groups, video/conferencing, office support, Citrix and managing the 3rd party provider, etc) and have a service mindset, well-disciplined, and teach people by doing & showing, rather than just telling.
  • Must be able to differentiate between a Service Desk team and a Technical/Deskside team. not push work to a Service Desk team, when it should be done by the deskside/technical team.
  • Knowledge around Active Directory is important, as well as Azure portal (from an AD perspective)
  • Experience around M365 stack, particularly Office apps and Exchange online. They are putting in Mimecast, and looking at adopting Microsoft Authenticator for MFA and Intune.
  • They are predominantly a call centre business, so knowledge about Telephony/VOIP/UCaaS platforms is important. To be able to speak to the business about call flows etc.
  • Budget management and Microsoft licensing management is important
  • Someone to push self-service and automation.
