The Role

Accountable for the performance of our websites within the digital experience value stream, you`ll be working closely with the Head of Technical Product Management, Value Stream Lead and Content Team to define the strategic vision and roadmap. Developing a deep understanding of our customers to translate business objectives into well defined, user-centric, innovative features that elevate the vision of the value stream.Taking a hands-on approach to provide direction and leadership to the product team, ensuring sprints deliver measurable value to customers as a priority, with clearly articulated goals and outcomes. Communicating plans and progress in a highly effective manner and working with engineering teams to adapt and overcome challenges.

What You`ll Be Doing

  • Take a leading role on the transition of our websites to a new Digital Experience Platform. Defining the strategic roadmap, taking into consideration prioritisation and dependencies
  • Be the subject matter expert of the Digital Experience Platform to ensure we`re realising the full potential of its capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with the content team to ensure content is impactful and engaging
  • Work with senior stakeholders and other value streams to establish prioritised epics and features that achieve the business ambitions for our customers
  • Be the champion of customer experience, collaborating with User Experience and your squad to craft user stories
  • Be available to the squad and engaged in progress, adapting to emerging change to overcome obstacles and blockers
  • Ensure the delivered stories meet the required level of quality, needs of the customer and consistency across platforms
  • Gather and work with customer research, User Experience and Insight to put customer value at the heart of decision making
  • Attend and contribute to scrum ceremonies to plan, refine and review sprint progress, using feedback to help improve team velocity and quality of outputs via retrospectives
  • Work collaboratively with all relevant areas of the business to ensure adoption and advocacy of the product features
  • Define measures of success and effectively communicate performance (including risks) to the value stream and sponsors
  • What We`re Looking for in You

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Manager within a highly productive and fast paced agile environment
  • Extensive experience with Digital Experience Platforms and Content Management Systems, delivering new innovative features to enhance content
  • Experience of working mobile-first in relation to feature design with demonstrable exposure to UX
  • Experience of working with end customers, ideally with knowledge of Gen Z or Gen Alpha
  • Effective use and application of data and insight to guide decisions on interaction behaviour
  • Excellent communications skills including inspiring trust and influence, communicating information in a clear and commercial manner, adapting style for different audiences and the ability to articulate and rationalise reasoning to the team without impacting morale
  • Commercial channel management/contributor, experience delivering to OKRs
  • Experience of backend systems and their integration with front-end interfaces
  • Management of third-party suppliers, agencies and stakeholders
