My client based on Trentham Lakes is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to maintain quality standards through in process and final inspection of in-house manufactured products as well as purchased items where applicable. Acting at all times in accordance with the Quality Systems and any relevant Standard Operating Procedures/Workflow Processes.

Suitable Candidates need to be able to demonstrate

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Word, Excel is required

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain multiple priorities and function in a team environment

  • Ability to work in extremes of temperature

  • Light lifting and manual handling

    • Duties include;

  • Communicate clear and concise re-work instructions in the event of non-conformity and with Team Leaders.

  • Participate in tasks related to non-conformance investigations for both internal and external customers

  • To complete associated paperwork as required.

  • Record waste as per company process.

  • Provide cover for colleagues in the event of an absence.

  • Always follow applicable safety advice throughout the site(s).

  • Wear and use issued and mandatory PPE, work equipment and tools as appropriate.

  • Report any health and safety concerns or unsafe conditions/behaviours as appropriate

  • Participate and communicate with internal and external auditors as required.

  • To fulfill all responsibilities as defined in the Company’s BS EN ISO & ISO Quality Systems relating to the position of Quality Inspector.

  • To carry out such other duties as may be required to achieve the overall purpose of the job.
