The ideal candidate will be an exceptional, innovative, energetic leader who is focussed upon the social, emotional and learning needs of our pupils.

The successful applicant will work alongside 2 other Assistant Head Teachers who have responsibility for LKS2 and KS1.

We are seeking an individual who will:

  • possess excellent leadership and people skills
  • demonstrate a thorough understanding and passion for learning in KS2.
  • provide strong direction and management of the teaching and learning of all pupils in the relentless pursuit of raising standards
  • take a lead role in the monitoring and evaluation of standards across the departments
  • work collaboratively with staff at all levels to develop school policy and strategy
  • embrace our ethos of celebrating diversity and inclusion
  • demonstrate a real passion for improving children’s lives and commitment to ensuring all children make excellent progress, with no limitations
