Clinical Systems Administrator – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

An excellent opportunity has arisen with our highly reputable client for a Clinical Systems Administrator.

Joining a Sheffield based values driven organisation who care about their people, this is a fantastic opportunity for an administrator who would like a rewarding and fast paced role.

This is a key role within the organisation and involves processing a large volume of medical information. This role would suit a candidate who has previous experience in a medical or healthcare administrative role and has outstanding accuracy and attention to detail skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately inputting data and providing administrative support to all clinical IT Systems
  • Prepare, co-ordinate and provide administrative support required for team meetings ensuring the accurate and timely availability of the required notes, reports, and all other associated documentation
  • Ensure all members of the multidisciplinary teams are advised of any changes to meetings and ensure all associated documentation is prepared and distributed in a timely manner before and after the meeting
  • Maintain the records room and ensure record archiving is carried out annually by liaising with the offsite archiving company for the storage and retrieval of notes as and when required
  • Verbal and written communication between professional teams, other departments and external agencies
  • Generate reports in a timely manner from the different IT clinical systems
  • Create relationships and good communication within the team and across the organisation
  • Developing training materials and plans for clinical IT processes
  • Ensure notes are kept tidy, up to date, and passed to the relevant department in a timely manner ensuring the required case notes, reports, and all other associated documentation is provided in a timely manner

  • This is a permanent role and our client will consider applicants looking to work 30 hours or 37.5 hours per week

    Working hours will be 08:00am – 16:00pm or 09:00 to 17:00pm and occasional weekend work will be required, approximately one weekend out of four (working one day at a weekend)
