You will assist with receipt and delivery of goods, maintenance activities associated with specialist areas, undertake stock control and record keeping of supplies and materials, including laboratory coats, liquid nitrogen, glassware, biologicals and chemicals to meet the teaching and research needs of staff and students. Health and Safety training will be provided in all aspects required of the role.

As a general guide we are looking for:

  • Good general education to equivalent of GCSEs. Other qualifications will be considered.
  • The willingness to work as part of a diverse team, follow instructions and ensure procedures are adhered to.
  • A proactive approach with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills and be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel or equivalent software.
