Enterprise Architect – Systems Engineering – 12 month contract – Christchurch – £88.22ph UMB or £66.14ph PAYE + £9.62ph accrued in holiday credit (Inside IR35)

Role description:

Our client is looking for an Enterprise Architect to help develop world-class solutions and require skilled and experienced engineers to work with us to deliver on our commitments. You will be working on a portfolio of multi-million pound contracts and campaigns with the MoD, with many associated with the Le TacCIS programme and sub-programmes such as Morpheus, Trinity and EVO. This position will a complement to the existing teams, while also providing experience and support to more junior engineers.

Ideal engineers will have existing knowledge of military command and control systems or the Le TacCIS programmes, while have a strong drive to exploit emerging technologies and push innovation ideas within the business and customer communities.

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced Architect who has involved in the definition or delivery of Business Enterprise and Solution Architectures;
  • Strategic thinking and standards definition around Enterprise Architectures and initiatives;
  • Experience in deriving business and system requirements from stakeholders;
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of: Capability Architecture, Service Architecture, Business Architecture, Data Architecture and System Architectures;
  • Experience working on major multi-million pound MoD projects, in particular experience on Le TacCIS programmes such as Morpheus, Trinity and EVO;
  • Ability to work across the supply chain from early lifecycle through to delivery and support at an enterprise level;
  • Ability to define and communicate target operating models;
  • Supporting to pre-sales and bid campaigns;
  • Track record in the delivery of complex enterprise-wide architectures covering people, process and technology;
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to track & report progress;
  • Good technical writing ability;
  • Your skills should include some of:

  • Definition of Service Architecture Models, ie SaaS, PaaS, IaaS;
  • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks, i.e. NAF, DoDAF, MoDAF, TOGAF or Zachman;
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE);
  • Modelling experience, ie UML, BPMN, ERD, IDEF;
  • Understanding of designing safe solutions;
  • Familiarity with Export Control and ITAR;
  • Accreditation processes;
  • Additional:

  • Security requirements: SC + ITAR
  • This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a Criminal Record Check and you must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct access to ITAR Material, therefore we can only consider UK Nationals for this position.     The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs).
