We have an exciting new role of School Account Manager (England) with a leading EdTech company. The role offers a competitive salary package, hybrid working (2 days/week in the Edinburgh office), and a rewarding mission, working amongst a supportive, passionate and inclusive team of education technology professionals.

As Account Manager you will work with schools all across England to make sure they are onboarded smoothly, that they use the company’s education tools effectively, and essentially ensure their annual renewal. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist schools during the onboarding process
  • Reach out proactively to at-risk customers and employ intervention tactics to avoid churn
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Consistently hit renewal sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key school customers
  • Deliver online webinar training sessions
  • Keep abreast of educational market updates and trends and share these insights with the company
  • The School Account Manager (England) will ideally have some customer service, customer success, account management or consultative sales experience along with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers at all levels. You will be a fast learner of new technologies and possess drive and ambition to succeed. An understanding of the English education system, and / or experience working in the Education or EdTech sectors would be highly valuable but by no means essential.
