Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a lovely Primary School in the area of Barnet, North-West London who are looking for a Senior SEN Teacher to lead their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) which provides for children with Autism. This is a full time role starting in September 2022 on a temp-perm basis and the school will aim to match your pay scale plus a TLR and SEN Allowance.

This Ofsted ‘Good’ Barnet school’s ARP is fairly small and a relatively new provision, providing for only 14 pupils across two classes. As a Senior SEN Teacher of this Barnet school’s ARP, you will be responsible for managing, leading and developing the ARP. This will involve managing a small team of teachers and teaching assistants, providing mentorship, covering classes during PPA sessions and helping to develop the curriculum to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils. As a Senior SEN Teacher of the ARP, you will be working in partnership with the SLT, SENDCo, parents, external specialists and the Governing body.

This Barnet school prides themselves on being a friendly, welcoming school who believe passionately in inclusion.
