Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Finance Manager to join a reputable organisation based on the outskirts of Edinburgh. This newly created role will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to implement transformational change within the finance team while also influencing organisational strategy as the position will form part of the Senior Management Team.

Typical duties of the Finance Manager will include:

  • Overseeing the management of a team which comprises of approximately 20 finance professionals
  • Provide strategic insight and advice for the SMT on all financial matters, while also acting as a Finance Business Partner for the CEO
  • Oversee the production of effective financial and management reporting methods on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Ensure that strong financial controls are maintained
  • Partner with Non-Financial Senior Managers to ensure that best financial practices are followed across the organisation

In order to be considered for this role, we are looking for applications from candidates with the following:

  • Recognised Accountancy Qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Previous experience in managing a team of finance professionals
  • Exposure to partnering with senior stakeholders on strategic financial decisions
  • Solid Financial and Management Accounting skills
