What does the role involve? We need an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join our growing Corporate Team, based in our Cambridge office. You will undertake a broad mix of corporate work including M&A, corporate finance, equity capital markets, private equity, joint ventures, fundraising, shareholder agreements and general corporate advisory work. You will advise clients ranging from start-ups through to substantial private companies and PLCs on a broad range of corporate issues and transactions and much of your work will have an international aspect. Depending on experience, you will either support partners and other members of the team, or you will work on your own matters largely unsupervised. What experience is required? You will be an associate of 3+ years’ qualified with experience gained in a City or regional firm. You will have a good background in transactional work and be able to demonstrate both working as part of a team on transactions, and/or managing transactions largely unsupervised. You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and an interest in, helping to grow a team and a practice. What skills and attributes would I need?

  • Experience of equity capital markets and mergers & acquisitions
  • Some familiarity with the Technology, Life Sciences, Real Estate Investment or Health sectors
