Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for a Building Surveyor.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the management of building projects, ensuring that their objectives are met within specified time.
Location : This post will cover properties across Cheshire, so can support working from home/local base with regular travel to HQ in Winsford.
Hours : Working hours are full time within office hours
Pay Rate : £19.32 – £21.62 per hour
Duties and responsibilities:
– Carrying out core building surveying activities
– Responsible for the site management of all planned maintenance and improvement projects ensuring that schemes are completed in a timely manner
– Management of Building Regulation and Planning applications.
– Manage the safety of work carried out by staff/contractors in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act
– Prepare contract documents and invitations to tender for work, evaluate bids, negotiate variations and report on submitted tenders
Experience
– Significant experience in providing building surveying services across a number of properties varying in size and use.
Applicant would be required to pass a Police background check.
