Job Description

A global manufacturer and supplier of bespoke electro-mechanical equipment used in buildings and infrastructures such as car parks, rail stations, airports etc is looking for a Project Engineer to cope with continued growth.

Reporting to the Head of Visual Communications, you will be tasked with running projects with internal and external stakeholders, to help design and manufacture bespoke equipment supporting steelwork structures / bracketry, customer information products and CCTV systems. You will also be responsible for the delivery of standard products to new and existing customers.

Some of your main responsibilities include:

  • Support the design and development of new products, production of associated technical files and aftersales support
  • Facilitating and supporting offsite customer meetings and site surveys. This will entail a small amount of UK travel
  • Ensuring that health, safety and environmental legislation is adhered to
  • Involvement in all aspects of project and product delivery; design, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning and after sales support
  • The ideal candidate will be degree qualified or apprentice trained, proficient in the use of 2D CAD systems (ideally AutoCAD) with a basic understanding of 3D systems.
