If you’re an experienced CDP looking for your next step or currently working as a Sous Chef and looking to change things up, this is the role for you!

You’ll be working with our exciting and talented team in our brand new restaurant, Compton serving our delicious small plates menu based on seasonal, local, quality produce.

The restaurant itself, is located in the heart of Clerkenwell, a 5 minute walk from Farringdon Tube station or 10 minutes from Old Street Station. We’ll be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner along with an epic deli focusing on delivering fresh meats, house baked breads and pastries as well as artisanal sandwiches.

  • Display a real passion for food
  • Previous experience within a demanding kitchen at the relevant level
  • Team player with the ability to manage the team when Head Chef is absent
  • Ability to manage costs, negotiate and build relationships with suppliers
  • Compliant from both a Food Hygiene and Food Safety perspective

  • Junior Sous Chef requirements:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operation
  • Look at the development and planning of menus, including future food trends
  • Compile all food orders for your sections, ensuring food standards and cost are agreed with the Head Chef
  • Ensure stock, deliveries and wastage are all checked and recorded in line with company and food standards
