About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for a Registered General Nurse ( RGN ) to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital on the outskirts of Ashford, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Registered General Nurse ( RGN ) to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital in their expanding hospital on the outskirts of Ashford. The hospital offers a range of services including specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy and outpatient diagnostic facilities including fast-track access to X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound. The hospital has recently invested into the latest facilities and services and now offers a full range of surgical procedures and treatments. They pride themselves on their latest technology and safe and infection free work environment. This role would consist of Reporting to the DSU Sister, as a Registered Nurse, you will provide a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team, including: collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance in line with best practice standards.
About the role:
You will be working on the ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:
Delivering the highest quality of pre and post op care to patients
Working well as part of a supportive team, offering knowledge
Assessing patient needs with enthusiasm and empath
Planning, implementing and evaluating care programs with clinical procedures
Providing medication, injections, intravenous infusions, and female and male catheterisation
Keeping patient medical records, up to date, accurate and managing them on an IT System
Who we’re looking for;
Be NMC registered RGN – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Previous ward experience, within surgical care
Experience working within the private sector is desirable
Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Good written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
Computer literate using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems
