As our English Teacher; your role will be to provide high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences to a small classroom of 6 or 7 students, you will be responsible for full planning of your classes. This is a full time, permanent position based on approx 40 hours a week.

Your responsibilities will include:

-As our English Teacher; your role will be to provide high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences to a small classroom of 6 or 7 students

– As an SEN English teacher you will also support our children to ensure every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential and access a variety of opportunities in a caring and safe environment.

– Plan and deliver lessons following the curriculum that’s tailored to each student and assist with the day to day running of the school.

– You’ll supervise and provide support and guidance to our Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants and play a key role in their Professional Development Reviews.

Key skills and experience needed:

– Teaching Qualification (UK QTS/QTLS or equivalent)

– The ability to work with learners that have various SEN/learning difficulties

-UK Based teaching experience/ ECT’s welcome

-Confidence to teach the lead in groups, in different educational subjects

-Flexibility in their approach to education

-Experience working in SEND settings is desirable but not essential

-Eligibility to work in the UK
