An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our busy admin NeighbourhoodMental Health Team. We are seeking an experienced Administrator/Receptionistto provide support to the teams and members of Studdert Kennedy House,Worcester.

Applicants require a level 2 qualification in a Business Administrationsubject or a level 2 in an alternative subject and be expected to complete anadministration qualification.Alternatively, NHS experience will also be considered.

This is a permanent post working per week. We would consider lesshours for the successful candidate but this would have to be a minimum of 30 hours.

An ability to work flexibly using yourown initiative and to be a pro-active team member is essential. You must havevery good organisational skills and be an effective communicator. The work is interesting and varied and fulltraining will be provided.

Shortlisted candidates will berequired to undertake an additional assessment as part of the selectionprocess.

Main duties of the job

You willbe part of the busy admin team, part of the Neighbourhood Mental HealthTeam.

You willundertake a vital role in the running of the community mental health functionproviding all aspects of admin support including telephone duties, inboxmanagement, appointment booking, reception cover and generic officeduties. The role will include contactwith patients, carers, professionals (internal and external) and colleagues daily.

As well asbeing part of the Worcester City admin team, you will act as a member of thewider admin function providing support and cover when required, liaisingregularly with the clinical team and actioning daily admin tasks. You are required to have a high level oforganisational skills and not only be able to be self-motivated but be a teamplayer.

The ability toprioritise a busy workload and work flexibly to meet demand are essentialrequirements of the role as well as a good customer service focus, when dealingwith internal and external enquires.
