One of my key developer clients is looking for a Senior Technical Manager to join their team to manage a large residential project in London which consists of (currently) two phases, each at different stages of the design and technical process. This project is due to deliver over 350 new homes, including some affordable housing therefore experience managing projects of a similar size would be desirable.

  • Some of the responsibilities:

  • Coordination of the project teams, monitoring process from planning to delivery, ensuring the project in delivered on time and within budget
  • Manage the technical and design process of the project from Planning Consent to Practical Completion
  • Coordinate consultant appointments, prepare appointment scopes, design programmes and fee budgets.
  • Coordinate technical, design and external Client issues with the Construction Team, Development and Sales & Marketing Team.
  • Address relevant issues with JCT Contracts, Employers Requirements, Contractors Proposals, Insurances, Performance Bonds, Adoption Agreements and Bonds, Warranties, etc
  • Key Requirements:

  • Strong manager who is a good communicator
  • Strong understanding of the financial, legal and planning processes on residential projects
  • Is a team player and can manage the project teams (including consultants)
