Job Description

The role
Checkout is seeking a driven and self motivated Manager, Liquidity Management, to join our Treasury team in London! The successful candidate will be working on the buildout and deepening of liquidity risk management capabilities globally and regionally.
In response to the continued scaling and expansion of Checkout in terms of volume, geographic footprint, payment methods, currencies supported, and product diversity, you’ll be identifying and quantifying liquidity risks, contributing to the design and implementation of a liquidity and funding management framework, monitoring and managing these risks on an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and work with a variety of stakeholders, includingmercial, product managers and clients, be well-organised, adaptable to the changing demands of the role, and capable of independently working toward specific goals! How you’ll make an impact

  • Support Checkout in all aspects of the day to day monitoring, analysis and management of the legal entities and group liquidity requirements, including liquidity stress testing, cash forecasting, cash explain, and intra-group funding
  • Understand current business model and payment flows, to understand and identify liquidity risks
  • Develop basic models, undertake forecasting and execute on liquidity management strategies, procedures and controls to mitigate and manage these risks
  • Design and utilise daily liquidity MI reports to assess liquidity position
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, including either banking or EMI/PI regulations
  • Contribute to design and implementation of a liquidity and funding management framework
  • Design and presentmittee materials, contribute to responses for regulatory enquiries
  • Qualifications

    What we’re looking for

  • Treasury experience essential
  • Understanding of liquidity risks and liquidity risk management frameworks
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, including basic modelling skills
  • Strongmunication skills and an ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships
  • Experience of working through change and implementing new processes
  • Attention to detail and proactivity is crucial
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including either banking or EMI/PI regulations and safeguarding beneficial
