If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Pharmacy drug administration technicians on an Oncology/Haematology ward, and one on a fast turnaround surgical ward .

We are looking for a dynamic Registered Clinical Pharmacy Technician who would like to enhance their role while supporting an expanding service at ward level. This is a pharmacy role which involves administrating medication to patients on the wards. All the positions are permanent posts.

The post requires the Successful candidate to be self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills and hold a strong team working ethic.

Excellent hours to work, including no late nights — Week day hours are 7am to 3pm (weekends and bank holidays are worked on a rotational basis)

Main duties of the job

We are looking for highly motivated Clinical Pharmacy Technicians who would like to enhance their role while supporting an expanded Pharmacy service at ward level. The required candidates will be required to undertake drug administration duties on their specialise ward, following a comprehensive package of training and assessment.

The ideal candidates should be experienced with medicine management and will be required to undertake drug administration duties on either an oncology, surgical or Neurosciences ward.

*A nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council;

*Ward experience in a hospital pharmacy environment;

*A flexible approach to accommodate the needs of the service.
