This is an exciting opportunity to join the Feeding and Eating Disorders Multidisciplinary Team as a clinical psychologist. There are excellent opportunities to develop skills in working with young children and families who present with difficulties with feeding and eating. The post holder will join an integrated Psychological and Mental Health Service, with psychologists working across the hospital in a variety of teams and specialisms. There will be an expectation that the post holder will collaborate with other teams and there will be opportunities for supervising and managing assistant psychologists, trainee clinical psychologists and undergraduate placement students.

The Feeding and Eating Disorders Service (FEDS) is a multi-disciplinary team within PAMHS, which provides specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people aged between 0 to 16 years, with a range of feeding difficulties and eating disorders, some children have diagnoses such as ARFID, Anorexia Nervosa. Many children are on the Autism Spectrum. These difficulties may arise from a combination of developmental, psychological, physical and psycho-social factors. Interventions include CBT, parenting work and systemic interventions.

Main duties of the job
