An exciting new opportunity is available for a Finance Managerto join us in Group Operations for1 year on a Fixed Term contract. You will be a key manager role in the Commercial Finance community, working with a wide range of stakeholders, up to Director level, across the Group Operations area. You’ll have a wide remit to provide business partnership in order to deliver challenge and insight to a significant cost base.

This role is Hybrid and will require working in our amazing Hatfield office at least 2 days a week and 3 days remote from home!

What else will you be doing?

  • Partner with the leadership team in their business areas to provide insight, challenge and support decision making to achieve business targets.
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager to plan and manage the Group Operations Budget and reforecast
  • Provide support, insight and data for the development of relevant operational plans
  • Develop and articulate management information, insight and ad hoc analysis to support performance tracking, cost control and decision making ensuring these are timely, relevant and insightful

About you..

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent
  • Comfortable partnering at Director level stakeholders
  • Knowledge of finance processes
  • Significant experience of Finance Business Partnering
  • Commercial acumen
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • Experience in managing and developing a team
