Career Teachers are currently working with a mainstream high school in the WA7 area of Liverpool who are looking to appoint a School Administrator to work full time, Monday to Friday, within their busy office.

Administrator duties and responsibilities include supporting the Attendance Officer with their data input so experience in a similar position would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will also be providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, supporting managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organisation and communication and daily use and upkeep of Sims programme.

The role is at first, until the end of the academic year, but a permanent vacancy may be on offer after a qualifying period, for the right candidate.

The start date is ASAP , and you will be required to work between the hours of 8.30-4pm. However, there may be some flexibility on the start/end times for someone with the right skills and experience

This full-time role offers a competitive rate of between £10.65-£12.00 per hour DoE, a lovely supportive environment, secure on-site parking, and potential progression to a permanent contract.

To be considered for this role you will be:

  • Experienced in Administrative duties and/or an office environment
  • Knowledge and/or experience of using SIMS
  • Excellent at time management and prioritising tasks
  • Confident using new systems to support and input data (some training will be given on the school system)
  • DBS cleared, or be willing to get one in process
  • Able to commit to Monday to Friday.
