Are you an outstanding Teaching Assistant in the L11 area? If so, I want to hear from you.

This is a vacancy for a TA to work in a lovely mainstream school in Liverpool L11. The post will include supporting in a class of Year 2 children and often working with small groups of children for class interventions. The children range from age 6-7 years and you will be required to work under the direction of the teacher.

The post is full time from 8.30 – 3.30pm and is long term until the end of the academic year.

Working in a similar environment would be an advantage but previous experience supporting children is essential. The role requires some flexibility as you may be asked to move around to different classes to support other needs.

I would be particularly interested to speak to people with experience within a primary school provision and who currently hold a DBS on the update service at present.

Requirements :

  • Hold a valid & recognised childcare qualification or equivalent. (Or have long term experience working with children)
  • Be fully dedicated to the role and have a can-do attitude.
  • Be genuinely committed to enhancing the educational and personal development of the child you are supporting and the rest of the class.
  • Hold an enhance DBS or obtain one through Career Teachers.
