Our client is a well-known growing insurance firm looking for a Talent Development Manager to assist in the build out of their Talent Development programmes across the business. Supporting the Head of Talent and Development on this journey, you will be responsible for the evolution of the firms existing Learning Strategy and Mission to include Succession Planning, as well as providing your Talent Development expertise to facilitate and create more effective training curricula.
A major aspect of this role will be your ability to partner with and Senior leadership across multiple business and brands to establish improvements/enhancements and areas of development, you will also be tasked with the planning of new processes. Acting as an internal SME and Consultant you will be tasked with working with internal colleagues and leaders on the matter of performance improvement as well as HR practice more broadly; alongside this, you will leverage your own constantly-growing industry expertise to align the firm with best market standards in the Talent Management space.
Some of your role requirements will also include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading on Performance and Training Projects throughout their lifecycles, alongside planning and co-ordinating Development programmes with external vendors
  • Delivering market-leading training solutions that are cost efficient yet also effective for continued development
  • Promoting a high performance culture entwinned with the identification and selection of future talent for succession planning
  • Analysing and leading on MI reporting with regards to current talent development plans
  • Liaising with external suppliers to the business to provide consulting as and when required by the firm
  • The right candidate for this role will come with strong stakeholder management skills, an excellent understanding of the whole Learning & Development process across its whole lifecycle, and an in depth understanding of organisational transformation and the role succession planning has to play therein. They will be a strategic thinker with the ability to understand and adapt to shifting needs, whilst also being an excellent orator, able to liaise and build rapport across various seniorities within the business.
