Ophthalmology Outpatients is looking for a friendly professional forward thinking Registered Nurse to join our team . Working across be working in a variety of clinics both sites .Clinics include Pediatrics ,Glaucoma,Medical Retina ,Oculoplastic ,Corneal,Routine /Follow up Clinics ,Laser,Artificial eye Clinic AMD and Eye Casualty (This list is not exhaustive )

Main duties of the job

Provide expert daily leadership and support to all levels of staff in the Ophthalmology Outpatients Clinic

Manage and co-ordinate staffing day to day and in advance, to ensure effective use of resources across the Ophthalmology Outpatients Clinic

This includes responsibility for the duty rota, devising the off duty and considering bank usage.

To participate and ensure that all staff in the area undergo an annual appraisal using the personal development review documentation (PDR).

To support staff with CPD activities and to promote teaching and training regularly in house and courses outside the trust.
