Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced senior operational manager to lead the operational delivery and development of our adult mental health services in Jersey, and shape / develop the care group senior leadership team. The mental health care group incorporates a wide range of community and inpatient services, and is in the process of a significant transformation programme – key to which is effective partnerships with service users, carers and partner organisations. The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing multi-disciplinary mental health services at a senior level, ensuring high quality delivery and service development, and an excellent understanding of mental health systems / services, effective change processes, and outcomes.

Main duties of the job

The General Manger is responsible for the effective strategic and operational management of the Care Group, ensuring the delivery of high quality patient services within the resources available.The General Manager will provide leadership and direction to the services in the Group taking the lead for developing strategies in line with the overall strategy and transformation programme.
