Starting Salary basic: £32,368.00 pa pro/rata
Additional non-contractual attendance bonus: £1,000/annum
On call allowance premium: Circa £2,000/annum
Plus: circa £3,000+ for attending on call
The shift pattern for the role is:
06.00-14.00
08.00-16.00
10.00-18.00
On call requirementsfor evenings, nights and weekends to provide a 24/7 service.

Main duties of the job
In the role you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair work and provide a first-class emergency service on a widerange of plant and equipment throughout the hospital and the wider community.You will be expected to participate in an emergency on-call rota for theout-of-hours service provided by the department. The role also attracts anon-contractual attendance bonus.
Youll be part of the Barnsley Operational Estates Services Team, workingin Barnsley Hospital. Were looking for team members who want to develop;previous experience is essential however training and support is a priority tous. Highly motivated people are welcome and those who demonstrate valuesand personal qualities that support the Barnsley Hospital way of working. As anElectrical Maintenance Technician you will become an active member of our teamworking closely with other disciplines. Youll have the chance to progress andlearn new skills. Previous experience is essential for theseroles, and experience of working in a hospital environment would beadvantageous.
