EHS Manager (Environmental, Health and Safety)

predicted to have huge growth over the coming years? I am working with a nationally recognised green energy facility. The site in Avonmouth is the largest of its kind in Europe and is a true flagship site for the industry.
They are looking for an experienced environment, health and safety manager to work across their energy from waste facility.
The successful candidate should have the following experience/skills/knowledge:
Experienced within a plant/process environment- essential
Previous working knowledge/experience of energy from waste/ERF- beneficial
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
Experience of permitted/regulated activities and processes, ideally within a controlled emissions environment
IOSH or NEBOSH qualified.
Awareness of management standards- ISO18001, ISO14001 and ISO50001
The role:
Working alongside the plant manager and the wider site team, your objective will be to maintain high productivity and ensure no compromise with regards to health, safety and environmental compliance.
Some tasks will include:
Ensuring compliance with site environmental permits or licences
Managing and monitoring of all process/audits for the ERF to ensure the recording is done in line with all statutory requirements
Working with the wider EHS team to ensure company targets are met
Ensure timely reporting of incidents and accidents
COntractor monitoring to ensure compliance with site standards
Acting as audit lead to ensure the site is prepared and all internal and external audits.
