Job summary

The Centralised Staffing Solutions team is looking to recruit friendly, team orientated individuals with experience of working in a busy environment.

Centralised Staffing Solutions supply a temporary workforce that support our clinical services covering community and inpatient services across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We can offer a variety of locations including the City, Wigston/Oadby, Loughborough to name a few.

As a bank Team Secretary, Medical Secretary or PA, you will be playing a crucial part in helping us ensure continuous delivery of our services to our service users.

Our temporary staffing placements fill an immediate short-term need for services that require cover on weekdays; requirements are typically between 22.5 hours and 37.5 hours per week and placements will typically last between four and 12 weeks.

PLEASE NOTE. This post would be unsuitable for anyone seeking work outside of normal business hours such as evenings, nights, or weekends

Main duties of the job

To work as part of an administrative team providing temporary, high quality and co-ordinated support as specified within each temporary placement request.

Essential

  • GCSE English Language and Maths Grade 4 or above or equivalent qualifications.
  • Where an equivalent qualification has been obtained please detail how this meets the minimum GCSE requirements in the supporting information section. I.e. Functional Skills Level 2 qualification in English is equivalent to a Grade 4 or above.
  • RSA level III Typing or Word Processing or demonstrable experience of producing documents to a high standard.
  • Medical Secretaries will require AMSPAR Certificate/equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Previous secretarial/PA experience
  • Personal Assistants should have proven diary management experience, able to compile and prepare reports and correspondence and experience of arranging and servicing complex multi-agency meetings/events.
  • Ability to acclimate quickly with the capability to learn processes on the job and within a relatively short period of time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent keyboard skills and in-depth working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to take and transcribe complex minutes.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a busy office environment.
  • Excellent team working abilities.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Service.
