Job summary
The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as the Clinical & Quality Director in the Humber and North Yorkshire Specialised Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Provider Collaborative. This role will co-lead (in partnership with the Collaborative Planning Director) the Collaborative Planning & Quality Team (CPaQT), which is responsible for the commissioning function of the collaborative. The successful candidate will be an experienced senior clinician with a passion for leading system transformation through a relentless focus on high quality services and a good understanding of the shifting commissioning landscape across mental health services and beyond.
The collaborative
The Humber and North Yorkshire Specialised Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Provider Collaborative is a partnership between a range of NHS, Independent Sector and Social Enterprise care providers. Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is the Lead Provider for commissioning services. As a collective, the Collaborative has responsibility for adult secure care services, CAMHS inpatient services and adult eating disorders in-patient provision across the geography.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical & Quality Director will operate via ongoing collaboration with a wide range of partners and stakeholders (including NHS, independent sector, and social enterprise care providers) to set the strategic clinical and quality direction of the collaborative.
The successful candidate will use their substantial clinical leadership experience to support the system in its ongoing development of high-quality services that are innovative and developed via co-production with the voice of service users and wider stakeholders at the centre. This includes ensuring safe and effective practice, systems of clinical involvement and provide assurance of quality to the Provider Collaborative and Lead Provider governance system.
