Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced registered nurses to join our brand new team. We have expanded our services and opened up an additional 22 bedded General Medical Ward. The aim of this department is to receive admissions directly from the Acute Medical Unit who require a slightly longer medical admission/further specialist input, overall improving patient experience.
The General Medicine Team are very passionate about developing and delivering a high standard care service, therefore we feel it is critical to have enthusiastic nurses with the right set of skills.
Frank Deas is a 22 bedded Ward with both male and female patients. Whilst we specialise in General medicine, we also accommodate patients ranging from different specialities such as Frailty, Gastro, Stroke etc.
We have vacancies for band 6 nurses who value team working, are enthusiastic and have both the desire and drive to provide our patients with respect and outstanding care. These nurses need to have experience in leading a team and ward level experience. In return, we can offer the opportunities for you to enhance your clinical skills as well as provide you with the right development and support from both the multi-disciplinary and clinical practice teams in order for
you to achieve to your full potential. Posts are offered on a full time or part time basis however, flexible working may be considered.
